Admission Rules

  1. 1. Candidate seeking admission into first year B.com must have passed the intermediate examination in any faculty i.e., science, humanities and commerce or any other examination of any board or University recognized as equivalent securing not less than 36% marks in aggregate.
  2. 2. All the relevant particulars required in the application must be carefully filled in by the candidates in English. The prescribed admission form should be submitted in the college during working hours on or before the prescribed date.
  3. 3. No admission will be considered unless original marks Memo and original T.C. are submitted.
  4. 4. A candidate should pay a registration fee of Rs.50/-through challan issued by the college in State Bank of India, Esamia Bazar branch and enclose a duplicate copy along with the admission form.
  5. 5. Selection of candidate for admission will be made purely on the basis of the merit, taking into consideration the marks obtained in the qualifying examination except for the following reservations:
    1. Scheduled Castes 15%
    2. Schedule Tribes 6%
    3. Backward Classes 29%
    4. Sportsmen, extracurricular activities 6%
    5. Physically Handicapped 3%
    6. Ex-servicemen
  6. 6. Admission of the candidate is subject to the confirmation by the University.
  7. 7. The admission of the candidates is cancelled automatically at any stage if and when it is detected that the admission was against rules or based on false information.
  8. 8. The fees once paid shall not be returned.
  9. 9. Candidate admitted to a particular medium in the year cannot be permitted to change another medium in 2nd and 3rd year. They have to answer the optional papers of all the three years in one medium only.
  10. 10. Any change in the address of the candidate should be immediately informed to the office.

General

The registration fee shall not be refunded in any case. All deposits will be refunded only after the student completes the course or his admission stands cancelled. Request for change of optionals or second language after a month from the date of admission will not be entertained.

Candidates admitted to a particular medium in the year cannot be permitted to change to another medium in 2nd or 3rd year. They have to answer the optional papers of all the 3 years in one medium only.

Any change in the address of the candidates should be immediately informed to the office.

Fee Structure

Students seeking admission to 1st year have to pay the annual tuition fee at the term of admission. The fee particulars can be had from the College Office.
